Terms of sale
These terms govern your use of surajgogoi.com and your purchase of digital educational guides sold through this site. Checkout and payment are completed on a third-party platform.
By using the site or buying a guide, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or complete a purchase.
1. Educational products only
Guides sold here are general educational information for a stated audience and edition (for example adults considering ADHD assessment pathways in England). They are not:
- a medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment;
- a prescribing service;
- personalised medical advice;
- a substitute for care from an appropriate professional.
Clinical services are not sold on this website in the current version of the site. Do not use a guide as a basis for changing medication, stopping treatment, or choosing a clinic without verifying current local and professional advice.
2. The seller and checkout
Digital products are sold by Dr Suraj Gogoi. Checkout, payment processing and download fulfilment are provided by a third-party platform (and its payment partners) on my behalf. The provider’s name appears on the payment page and order receipt. Your contract for payment processing may also involve that provider’s terms, which apply in addition to these terms for the checkout experience.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 or over to buy educational products from this site. You confirm that the information you provide at checkout is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method selected.
4. Price and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) on the product page (for example £29 for the ADHD Decision Guide, unless a different price is clearly stated). Payment is taken when you complete checkout. Taxes, if applicable, will be shown at checkout according to how the checkout provider is configured.
5. Delivery of digital content
After successful payment you should receive access to the digital file by email or via the fulfilment method configured by the checkout provider. Delivery is usually prompt after payment, but occasional delays can occur (email filtering, provider outages, incorrect email address).
Keep your order email. You will need access to the email address used at checkout. If you do not receive your download within a reasonable time, check spam/promotions folders, then contact support with your order date and checkout email.
6. Licence to use the guide
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use the guide for your own information. You must not:
- resell, rent or commercially exploit the file;
- republish or redistribute the file publicly (including sharing download links);
- copy substantial extracts into other products or courses without written permission;
- remove copyright or edition notices.
All intellectual property in the guides remains with Dr Suraj Gogoi (or other rights holders named in the materials).
7. Accuracy, editions and change
Pathway rules, waiting times, commissioning arrangements, shared-care policies and clinic practices can change. Educational content is provided in good faith for a stated edition and geography, but you remain responsible for verifying current arrangements with the NHS, your GP practice, clinics and other relevant bodies before you act.
Guides may be updated from time to time. Purchase of a particular edition does not automatically entitle you to every future revision unless that is expressly offered.
8. Acceptable use of the website
You must not misuse the site (for example attempting to breach security, scrape content at scale, introduce malware, or use the site for unlawful purposes). I may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the site or other users.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- educational materials are provided without warranties of fitness for a particular clinical decision;
- I am not liable for decisions you make after reading educational material;
- I am not liable for outcomes of third-party clinical services, clinics, GPs or pathways you choose to use;
- I am not liable for delays or failures caused by the checkout provider, payment processors, email providers or events outside reasonable control.
Where liability can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant digital product.
10. Refunds
Refunds and cancellations for digital products are described on the Returns and refunds page, which forms part of these terms.
11. Privacy
How personal information is handled is described in the Privacy policy and Cookie policy.
12. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The “last updated” date will change when material updates are published. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you if you are a consumer elsewhere.
